The MTV VMAs have
arrived again! So many epic
performances are on the way, and 4western has decided to
take a look back at 10 VMA
performances we can’t seem to
forget!
Every single year, the MTV Video Music Awards feature
memorable performances. Over the course of 31 years,
some of our favorite artists have hit the stage to
perform on one of music’s biggest nights. From
Beyonce’s incredible 15-song medley in 2014 to the
‘NSYNC reunion to Miley Cyrus twerking on Robin
Thicke during “Blurred Lines,” 4western has
come up with the 10 most memorable performances of
all time!

*Beyonce’s 15-song medley after Vanguard win
(2014)

Bey always puts on a good show, and she did just that
at the 2014 VMAs. The Queen Bey was awarded the
Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the show and
performed a 15-song medley that rocked our socks off.
Beyonce rules, and that’s all there is to it.

*Miley Cyrus & Robin Thicke (2013)

We can’t talk about the Video Music Awards without
talking about Miley. The “Wrecking Ball” singer is hosting
the show this year, but her most famous moment to
date was in 2013. Miley started out performing “We
Can’t Stop” and segued into her performance with
Robin. She twerked on Robin as he sang “Blurred Lines.”
It was nuts and undeniably memorable.

*Chris Brown & Rihanna (2007)

Chris Brown and Rihanna shut it down at the VMAs.
Chris started things off by singing “Wall To Wall.” Then,
Rihanna entered the stage and performed “Umbrella.”
Chris and Rihanna dancing together on a table during
their performance was epic. Chris finished off the epic
performance with “Kiss Kiss.” Regardless of their
relationship status, these two have insane musical
chemistry.

*Michael Jackson (1995)

Michael is and always will be the King of Pop. The
legendary singer sang a medley of his greatest hits,
including “Beat It,” “Thriller,” “Billie Jean” and “Smooth
Criminal.”

*Madonna, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera
team up (2003)

This has got to be the hottest trio in MTV Video Music
Awards history. Three of the biggest artists in the world
joined forces for one unforgettable performance. Talk
about girl power! They performed “Like A Virgin/
Hollywood” along with Missy Elliott , and Madonna
famously kissed both Britney and Christina!
*Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” performance (2009)

This performance was so iconic. Lady Gaga is a
powerhouse and proved that first-hand at the VMAs.
Not only were her vocals incredible, the performance
was like a movie. It was dramatic to the extreme, and
everyone loved it. She also brought the shock factor,
too. Remember when the blood starting pouring?
*Taylor Swift (2014)

Haters can hate, but Taylor Swift can perform. The
singer took her hit song, “Shake It Off,” and shut down
the show in 2014. There’s no way, whether you were in
the audience or at home, that you weren’t jamming out
to this performance.

*Justin Bieber (2010)

Justin Bieber was last seen on the VMAs stage in 2010.
It’s been 5 long years. He sang a medley of his hits at
the show, including “Baby!” He’s performing for the first
time since then, and it’s going to be so good.
