KANYE WEST PLANS TO RELEASE THREE ALBUMS PER YEAR

Kanye West will be spending much of his time in the recording studio in the years to come, according to a new tweet from the eccentric rapper. On Saturday morning (March 12), ‘Ye tweeted his ambitious plan to release three albums per year.

“No more fashion calendar... I'm going Mad Max... 6 collections a year...3 albums a year,” he wrote.

The hip-hop superstar has been wildly active on Twitter following the release of his latest album, The Life of Pablo, on Feb. 14. In his stream of consciousness pontificating, West recently noted that he will no longer release physical albums.
"I was thinking about not making CDs ever again... Only streaming," he Tweeted before referencing the cover art of his 2013 effort, Yeezus. "The Yeezus album packaging was an open casket to CDs r.i.p."
He continued, "uuuuuuum, so there it is... No more CDs from me.”
Sources previously told Billboard that Def Jam and Universal Music Group were working closely with West on several possible release strategies for The Life of Pablo, and that a physical version was due.
If West keeps his word, then that would mean he'll be dropping two more albums in 2016.
